Q: What is the depth of the bracket from the wall?
A: The bracket is 0.5" deep.
Q: Is it rust and corrosion resistance through everyday use?
A: Yes, this is made to sustain use in the shower. It will withstand normal moisture and dampness in a bathroom environment; however, it is not meant to be under a direct water influence and is meant to stay overall in a dry area.
Q: Can this be mounted vertically?
A: This grab bar can be mounted horizontally as pictured, or vertically.
Q: Can it be installed on tile?
A: This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials. We do not recommend mounting the product in any other way, beyond its recommended installation. This item does have the capability to be installed on tile, however, it is recommended to speak about the install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of drilling into tile.
Q: When are the dimensions of the wall bracket?
A: The mounting plates will be 2 1/8" wide by 1 1/2" tall. Please see attached spec sheet.
Q: Does it come in larger width eg: 30"?
A: Unfortunately, this grab is the only grab bar in this collection and does not come in any other sizes. However, the largest grab bar we currently offer is the Gedy 2721-67, which is 26.5" long.
Q: What are the tech specs for Geesa 7031-30 and how is it installed? The most important part of this question is the measurement of where it mounts to the wall.
A: The are four mounting points, two on each mount 1 inch apart. The distance in between the furthest mount holes is 13 inches. See attached photos. Multiply by (.0393) to convert millimeters to inches.
The mounting arms come disconnected from the bar by unscrewing allen screws on the underside of the bar. This allows you to mount the arms to the wall.
Once mounted, insert the towel bar into the mounts and tighten the allen screws until snug.
