How would the bendable copper pipe tie into a single hole faucet fixture, and can they be cut?

The hot and cold copper pipes will go into the single hole; the faucet will have two hoses to connect these two within the faucet. You can cut the copper pipes if need be, however, once this is done and the product has been altered, it will void warranty and the item is non-returnable.

How do they hook to plumbing supply lines in the wall?

Do hot and cold valves open in opposite directions? For example each lever swings away from P-trap to open?

Each valve will open and close in the same direction. To close the valve, the lever is turned to 90 degrees the right from the vertical position, thusly, having one open towards the P-trap and another away from it if placed with the p-trap in the middle.
