How wide open do the swivel bars swing?A
Each arm has the ability to move independently fully from to the left and to the right.?
Will this hold two large bath towels?A
Each bar is designed to hold a standard bath towel; the item will be the most sturdy when installed as intended into the studs in the wall.?
The width is listed as 17.1", but where exactly is that measuring from. I'm trying to determine the EXACT lenght of the bar that holds the towel. From the end, to where the center pivot is. Or dies the 17.1" include some of the center pivot pole?A
The 17.1" dimension is measuring the utmost distance in width from the farthest left of the swivel towel bar to the farthest right point. The exact bars themselves measure at 15" exactly from where they start on the swivel to their end points. ?
Can this be installed to the back of the bathroom door?A
All mounted products are recommended to be mounted into studs. This will ensure the most stability out of your product, as well as be covered under the limited warranty. That being said, if you decide you still would like to mount this product and you are mounting to a solid door, you will probably need to use some sort of expansion sleeves to insure more stability, and it will depend on the product's screw length vs the diameter of the door as well. Unfortunately, the product does not come with those parts, so it would need to purchased at a local hardware store.
