The distance from the wall to the inside of the arm that holds the toilet roll is 2 1/8th". As there are many toilet paper sizes and brands, we recommend testing your toilet roll on this holder prior to installing it, as installed items cannot be returned.

These are mounted via a mounting plate that is installed with two screws into proper wood backing and locked into place. Once secured, the mounting will be sturdy.
