This project involved the major renovation and complete gut of a home built on Siesta Beach in the early 1990?s before the new Hurricane building codes were in effect. This home was brought up to the current building standards to withstand 130 mph winds, new impact windows, new roof, new decks, all new interiors by the infamous interior designer Anne Folsom Smith and the architectural firm of Frank Folsom Smith, and a fabulous new exterior landscape architecture by John Wheeler Landscape Design. This home was renovated to include the highest air quality and efficiencies available. This energy retrofit project is one of fifty included in a national study by Pacific Coasts Laboratories. Project Value $1,400,000.
