It looks great the picture does not capture the fact that it is very shiny which is what I wanted and not a gray silver. My only complaint is that is it difficult to find a box of tissue where the depth is small enough to snap the bottom in place.

Better then the pic - it is silver (not grayish) inside a translucent outside - you dont see fingerprints that easy! We love this product at work! we bought one and then two more. I ordered the white and black to see what they looked like - it was hard to choose because they were all great, But we went with silver for our decor.

I buy the large rectangular tissue boxes. Can I pull tissues out and put directly in this holder or do I have to buy smaller box?

It is highly recommended to buy the tissue box holder that fits directly onto the box for full functionality. This tissue box would be able to put a stack of tissues directly into it for removal and use. However, if this tissue box is used this way without a standard box in it, there will be a loss in functionality and the tissues may not dispense from the holder appropriately. Also, if the box is used without the packaging box inside, this reduces the increased protection from water.
