The products arrived in timely fashion, they were securely packaged and the individual items came in lovely drawstring bags inside manufacturer boxes that were inside packing inside the larger boxes. Can this be mounted vertically?

Yes, the item has the capability to be mounted this direction, however, the set screw would be showing on the side of the toilet paper holder, rather than the bottom.

Do you have any other dimensions, like the length of the arm that holds the roll?

The length of the arm that holds the roll is 4.75".

will it hold a mega toilet paper

The distance from the wall to the inside of the arm that holds the toilet roll is 2".

As there are many toilet paper sizes and brands, we recommend testing your toilet roll on this holder prior to installing it, as installed items cannot be returned.
