The outer holes in the brackets are 18.5" apart and the inner holes are 17.75" apart.

What are the dimensions of the face plate?

The mounting plates have a width 1.5", depth of 2.12", and the height is 0.69".

What is the diameter of the bar? Is the piece that holds it off the wall polished? Do you have this product in brushed finish?

The diameter of the bar 0.81". This product will be fully finished with polished chrome. Unfortunately, this item is only available in the polished chrome finish.
