Have these same towel racks in my other bathroom which was remodeled recently. Really love the modern and unique look. The only issue is you can't tug on them too much because they can come lose from the wall easily.

Can it be mounted on tile?

This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials to do so; it will be mounted via screws. This item does have the capability to be installed on tile, however, it is recommended to speak about the install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of drilling into tile and obtaining any other necessary install materials.

How are these attached?

This is mounted via a mounting plate that is installed with two screws into proper wood backing and locked into place. Once secured, the mounting will be sturdy.
