This item is only intended to be used as a towel bar; it is not recommended to be used for anything other than its intended purpose and will not be able to support the weight of a grab bar.Other 14" grab bar options include Gedy ED21-37-13 and Gedy 3221-35-13.

Is the overall length 18" or 18" post to post? Many say 18" but are really longer.A
Please see tech specs photo attached. This towel rail will be able to hold towels within the 14 1/2" interior dimensions, and the item will 17.72" from overall end to end.

Unfortunately, this item only comes in polished chrome as shown.?
Can this product be installed in drywall?A
Our products are supplied with a set of standard size screws and drywall anchors. For the most stability, we recommend using the wall stud, but they can be mounted into drywall.
