As toilet roll sizes vary by brand, we recommend testing your toilet roll on this holder prior to installing it, as installed items cannot be returned.The distance from the wall to the inside of the arm that holds that toilet roll is 2.3".

Can I use double stick tape for simple installation since this will not carry heavy weight?A
This item is mounted with two screws that are inserted in the wall through a mounting plate; for most secure installation, it is recommended to install into a stud. The plate then is inserted in the wall bracket, and locked in place with a set screw. Any other installation is a custom install and would need to be discussed with a licensed professional and is against manufacturer recommendation.
