Unable to use since the metric threads will not fit or adapt to U.S. plumbing standards. The drain is perfect for the sink but cannot be used without the trap that is recommended to go with it. We could not use the trap because it is such an odd configuration we could not adapt it to our current roughed in plumbing. A huge waste of money for the product and sink and huge waste of time trying to find plumbing that will adapt to it.

Is it easy to clean hair out of one of these drains?

This click clack is capable of being removed from the drain very easily. In cases when needing to remove any type of excess material that may be stuck, the top piece can be removed so that you have a wider access to your drain.

How do you get the top off to unclog drain?

The top simply threads off to perform maintenance and cleaning.

Is there an extension available to make this longer?

Unfortunately, we do not sell any extensions to this drain. A tailpiece can be purchased at a local hardware store in order to extend this item to reach a p-trap, or you can purchase the p-trap that threads perfectly into this item.

Can I cut off some of the tailpiece (not the piece that goes into the p trap) to shorten it a bit? The tailpiece is too long and the bottom piece which screws into the p trap bottoms out before it reaches the bottom of the sink.
