Three stars for style and one for quality and durability. The chrome plastic hand pump is flimsy and is disappointing, that is, given the price of the dispenser. I was hoping for better all-around quality.

How do you refill this dispenser?

Please pull the pump up out of the dispenser, then simply unscrew the bottle from the pump. This will allow you to refill the dispenser. If the pump is stuck within the base, you can simply run under warm water to help free the pump and bottle.

This does not involve any battery. The dispenser is operated by a simple push on the top of the dispenser. down.
