How far does the bar come off the wall? Total product depth?

The bar itself comes 2" off the wall, and the overall depth is 2.8".

Is this towel bar suitable for installation inside a shower stall where it will get wet?

Yes, this is made to sustain use in the shower. It will withstand normal moisture and dampness in a bathroom environment; however, it is not meant to be under a direct water influence and is meant to stay overall in a dry area.

This is recommended to go into studs but does has the capability to go into tiles. This will dependent on the skills of the installer.
