In between the holes is 1 3/4" and from the end of each hole it is 2".

We do not recommend mounting the product in any other way, beyond its recommended installation. It is recommended to speak about a custom install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of installing this product in a different manner.?

This item does have the capability to be installed on tile, however, it is recommended to speak about the install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of drilling into tile and obtaining any other necessary install materials.?
