| These helped us out of a jam recently as we had an issue with our 18" bar we had purchased 6 months earlier in that it wouldn't fit in the locations we had selected. It was good enough that we purchased 2 more for a future renovation later this year of our other bathroom. But be aware it doesn't feel as "solid" -- more plasticy than the 18" towel bar we had chosen by shopping in stores for a few days, but it was really hard to find a 14" towel bar and we liked the look online and needed these in a hurry. |

Yes, the bar itself is removable to be cut properly by a professional. However, please be advised that this will be at the customer's liability, will void any manufacturer warranties and the item will be non-returnable once altered. ?
How is the towel bar mounted to the wall; with screws or glue?A
This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall with screws; this item will come with the necessary mounting materials. We do not recommend mounting the product in any other way, beyond its recommended installation. However, if your contractor felt comfortable with a different type of installation, it would be at buyer discretion to allow their contractor to do so.
