This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials. We do not recommend mounting the product in any other way, beyond its recommended installation. However, if your contractor felt comfortable with a different type of installation, it would be at buyer discretion to allow their contractor to do so.?
