How is it attached?A
The towel bar is installed via two screws on a mounting plate on each end of the towel bar and the towel bar then attaches to the mounting plate and is locked via a set screw.?
Can this be mounted to tile?A
This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials to do so; it will be mounted via screws. This item does have the capability to be installed on tile, however, it is recommended to speak about the install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of drilling into tile and obtaining any other necessary install materials.

If there isn't a stud, what do you have in the way of anchor plates to assure the grab bar will still support 330lbs?A
This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the included mounting materials. It will be the most secure when mounted into the studs. We do not recommend mounting the product in any other way, beyond its recommended installation.
