This item is recommended to be installed via the included hardware into studs. Installing into a door would be against intended install and would void manufacturer warranty; this would be considered a custom installation at the ability, risk and liability of the installer, and may require custom hardware.?

This hook is rated to hold about 5 to 10 lbs and is intended to installed into studs. When mounted into studs correctly, it will help to allow more weight, but we do not guarantee anything beyond its intended use, as the item is intended to support robes or towels. ?
Can this be installed on tile walls.A
This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials to do so. This item does have the capability to be installed on tile, however, it is recommended to speak about the install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of drilling into tile and obtaining any other necessary install materials.
