| The description calls this a "polished black" robe hook, but as you can tell from the photo, it is really more a matte black hook, which is exactly what we wanted. It's a great design and installs easily. The only reason I give it four stars and not five is that the lock screw that secures the post to the anchor sits proud of the post a little bit and has a sharpish finish that could snag fabric. I fixed it by grinding down the inner mount so that the screw is now flush with the post. |

This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials to do such. We do not recommend mounting the product in any other way, beyond its recommended installation. It is recommended to speak about a custom install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of installing this product in a different manner.?
