This is a beautiful brush holder - clean lines, nice finish. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I feel like it could be a little more weighted on the bottom. It's light weight and seems like it could easily tip.

Does the bottom have a rubber base and isthecannister removable

This item does not have a rubber base. Though it does contain an inner canister cup in the bottom to hold the brush away from directly touching the metal. The item contains the brush head, brush handle and holder, and inner liner cup.

The brush head size is 3" tall by 2.5" wide.
