Yes, this is the space that the 2" measurement is referring to. Please see attached photo for further visual explanation.

Does it fit a double roll? 2.8" seems not very deep.A
This will fit a standard toilet paper roll. The overall depth is 2.8", however, the interior depth of the toilet paper holder is 2". Please see attached photo for further technical specifications.

Unfortunately, as many brands offer different plys and sizes, we cannot guarantee which toilet paper brands and plys this toilet paper holder can fit. It is highly recommended to test the toilet paper on your holder, prior to installing it on your wall, as installed items cannot be returned. ?
How do you install it?A
First screw on the mounting bracket to the wall, next place toilet paper holder over bracket and tighten from bottom with allen key. Please see attached instruction manual; all installation accessories are included.
