The product is intended to be installed in a horizontal position. However, it could be installed vertically, though, the set screw would now become visible on the side.?

This can be mounted in the reverse position, however, the allen screw that locks the product in would then be visible on top of the item, rather than the underside.?

The distance from the back of the holder to the arm that holds the roll is 2.25". As there are many toilet paper sizes and brands, we recommend testing your toilet roll on this holder prior to installing it, as installed items cannot be returned.
