No, the hardware will install directly from the product to the wall. Please see attached photos.

Can this shelf be mounted in the shower?A
This product is intended to be mounted into studs into the wall and will come with the necessary mounting materials to do so. This item does have the capability to be installed on tile, however, it is recommended to speak about the install with your contractor prior to understand the risks of drilling into tile and obtaining any other necessary install materials.All our items sold at TheBathOutlet are meant to sustain humid, moist environments. The shelf can hold approximately 10 lbs when properly installed into studs.?
Are the screws visible on this product? The website photos show none and make it appear is if they?re concealed. However, the photo posted by a customer clearly shows screws.A
The screws on the product are visible, but the product does come in with cover caps to hide the screws themselves.
