Is it easy to clean hair out of one of these drains?

This click clack is capable of being removed from the drain very easily. In cases when needing to remove any type of excess material that may be stuck, the top piece can be removed so that you have a wider access to your drain.

will this work with a 1.25" drain opening in vessel sink, no overflow?

This drain is made to fit US standard sizing in sinks; as long as your sink is US standard drain size and is without an overflow, this drain should work with your sink.

Can this be used with a vessel sink?

Yes, this product can be used with a vessel sink. The S2079 is a pop-up specifically designed for a sink without overflow.

If the vessel sink has no overflow hole (meaning the hole usually at the back of the sink that allows water to drain out of the sink like displayed in photo 1), then this product is correct for that.

If the vessel sink has an overflow hole (displayed in photo 2), then you will use a different click clack, the S2077.

Can I cut off some of the tailpiece (not the piece that goes into the p trap) to shorten it a bit? The tailpiece is too long and the bottom piece which screws into the p trap bottoms out before it reaches the bottom of the sink.

Sometimes a plumber or contractor needs to modify plumbing to match the needs for each individuals' bathroom. Please check with your plumber/contractor to see if they can modify the parts necessary. Once any modifications are made, we cannot make any guarantees and the item can not be returned.
