How does it mount to wall? Does it take a nipple or does it slide on 1/2" copper with a set screw?A
The connection to the wall is a threaded 1/2" female end, please see attached photo.

We have a slip-on square faucet and we want to replace it with a diverter with a hose attachment. Is this faucet, a slip-on? It looks exactly like our old one save for the diverter.A
This tub filler unfortunately is not a slip on; it has 1/2" NPT threads that thread into a pipe.?
Is the female threading at the wall or extended further inside the tub spout?A
The female threading would need to be located at the wall so the tub spout could be screwed into it.
