Diverter Shopping Ideas
If you're investing in a luxury shower system, you'll need diverters and mixers to finish your space off. Shower mixers allow you to control the temperature of your shower, and in some cases, the flow. Meanwhile, shower diverters dictate where the water should go, whether through the shower head, a handheld unit, or the tub spout. You can also buy thermostatic mixers that allow you to moderate both the temperature and water flow, allowing you to turn down the water volume when shaving or shampooing.
Diverters
As the most vital piece to any bathroom/shower setup, the diverter is essentially the engine that makes the bathroom run. These valves come in a variety of different shapes, sizes and visibility options that are all used to change the flow of fluid through your system of bathroom pipes. Bathroom mixers function in a similar fashion, and just like diverters they can ether be concealed or exposed. In actuality, the faucet itself can be considered a mixer, the area where hot and cold water is mixed to produce your desired water temperature.
All bathroom faucets and shower diverters we sell come with an included rough-in valve in order to save you the hassle of trying to match the right one. Many of our faucets and diverters also feature pressure balance valves, which provide water at a constant temperature despite temperature fluctuations in either the hot or cold pipes.
